Celoteh Captain Shafari - Si Dia 2 Part 2

My jogging today was cut short due to the heavy downpour. Target was to run 7 rounds Oasis Square but God has a better plan. Got to stop after 3 laps. 

Hey.. I am back into serious running. Last week I ran 7 km and by 1 Jan, my aim is to run 10 km within 70 minutes. So you guys who have been running...better look over your shoulder... I could be just a step behind you. 

Terengganu is getting the brunt of the monsoon. Floods were every where. But then... in the East Coast, they take floods as a fiesta.. but not in Klang Valley where it is considered as a disaster.

This DLCW case is no more a hot topic...sudah berkurangan. However I got something that I should share with you all. It was during the Malaysian Gold Open last year where DLCW was facing Tommy Sugiarto in the finals MS. Before the match, I overheard someone right behind me telling that it would be 16 16. “Aiyah ini game Tommy kena 16 16 lah”. It was true that in the 1 set, DLCW won 21-16. OMG! I was sitting with a few Famemas members in KLBA.. and very near to Wong Mew Choo. She seemed not to concentrate on the match but was busy talking over the handphone... non stop. 

Well.. I was telling myself, if my spouse were to battle it out in the court, then I would be sitting at the edge of the seat. But not WMChoo. She was very composed and kept on talking over her handphone. DLCW would always glance/ took a look at WMChoo. To me... wow.. DLCW ni jeles orang nya. Then the game ended at 21-17 in DLCW’s favour. And the 17th point that Tommy got was a simple mistake made by DLCW when his net play tersangkut/terkandas. So guys... 21-16 and 21-17. The chinaman who had told 16 16.. could have made some good money. haha.. this is my story only.. ok. Could be coincident.

Mana satu Si Dia 2?

There is something positive when Si Dia 2 tak layan my advances on her. I took running seriously cos I think she didnt like my pot belly...but then mana ada awek muda dan cun pula yang suka kat orang tua macam saya kan? Rambut dah putih... dan drive Saga with company’s logo...where got standard huh... 

Its is Ok... it is alright, come on Captain... fight! fight! fight! 

Oh yeah... fighting a losing game. Tak ada guna nya.... It is not that I am giving up but I took it as a challenge... a positive one. So what if Si Dia 2 tak mahu. I must “reinvent” my self and make myself to be proud of me. hahaha .... tu dia, semangat bergelora tu. 

Actually I do feel lonely at times. and terjumpa Si Dia 2 tu was at a time when I really need someone...and returning back from Incheon after 7 hectic days of shoutings and being with good companions... yeah... she came into me. As I have said...she is like a photocopy of Si Dia 1. And I told myself after Si Dia 1 sudah kahwin... the next Si Dia.. I will not hesitate to “lock herself in my heart’. hahah it sounds macam cerita HIndi,,, but it is true.. I told myself that... and I would not waste anymore time.. must confess cepat cepat so that either one tak terluka. Tapi now.. saya juga yang terluka.. padan muka right. Kalau Si Dia 1 yang baca ni... she’ll say “Served you right Capt”. Oh.. I wished I could hear her voice now. 

Ooh... sudah lewat... got to go to dobhy, ambil pakaian.. and Saturday, my big family (siblings, in laws, nephews and nieces) will be traveling to Mata Air Perlis to attend the wedding of my nephew and Malaysian cycling coach, Harnizam Basri.

Celoteh Captain Shafari - Si Dia 2?

Sudah lama tak berceloteh. Entahlah.... may be out of respect for someone dearest to you kahwin dengan orang lain, may be too that I have lost the jest to write or for what ever reasons ... I just do not know. I think I stopped just after Si Dia nikah. 

I am back now. Whether lama atau sekejap, only the Mighty God knows better. Yes... some of you had told that they missed my celoteh... but many of you tiada apa apa right? Life goes on..... 

I had a wonderful trip with 14 others for the Asian Games in Seoul and Incheon. I would say, this trip was a little better than the Ho Chih Min trip. This was well organised and at Asian level, we did go to many venues and witnessed/watched many games and sports. Though there were some misunderstandings but at the end, the team spirit won the day. Oh yeah... halal food was never easy... we starved a few number of times. Lunch was tidbits and sandwiches. But I respect the non muslims in our group... they too got to "puasa"...

I would like to recommend that 2 members are not fit to join our group for the next outings.... they just do not posses the team spirit, find faults, be individualistic... and have the impression that "I am more important that the group". hehehehe siapa makan cili, dia terasa pedas.. This is only my personal view. 

Then about me. I missed the Guangzhou Asian Games and the trip to Myanmar Sea Games. The last I went was in 2011 for the Jakarta Sea Games. Though in between 2011 and Incheon Asian games I did go abroad on a few occasions with groups of different people but still I liked most is whenever I go with Famemas members. Difficult to explain as we were "tortured" to go from one venue to another, to cheer from one game to another.. and we just do not have the time to relax or go shopping.. but then I was one happy old man during and after the trip. I think many from the 15 has that feelings too.

The best thing that happened to me was berjumpa dengan Si Dia 2... almost.... I was like head over heels and it happened just to fast... all within 3 days. May be being lonely for too long...

2 malay girls, K pop tourists, joined our group on the 3rd day onwards. They helped us in getting halal food and good jogging place... along the Han River. It was just normal... nothing happened. Then I realised... she is almost like Si Dia, independent, likes traveling, beautiful, understanding, outgoing and with alot of grey matter and a career lady. And I dreamt of her on our last night in Korea. Wow... but I was still able to control my self...

The feelings started when we came back home... and the sudden change from a very hectic daily activities to a "nothing much to do"... then all the imagination keep coming in.... and then like a gust of strong wind.. I was swept away... I felt that I was missing her....... Unlike

So far no news from CDM on achieving his KPI. Maybe still in cloud 9. NSC is satisfied though Malaysia got only half no. of golds medals compared to what Myanmar won. And Myanmar is only getting out of military grip recently and was alwalys for below us. 

We got 25 golds in Olympics sports and that made us to feel we are superior than most of our neighbours. Hehe again and again, NSC is trying to please the masses but we all know that we lack the pool of talented sportsman. 

We are not improving at all whereas aur Asean members are moving forward. Maybe it is true tahat a day will come when we'll employ Timor Leste coaches (in sports) or even exporting  our maids to Indonesia (economy)

You guys that went to Myanmar must have missed watching The Voice 5 final. Try to watch it and see how they, the 3 finalists and their coaches work together and their performance - just amazing, unbelievable and the best musical show l've seen. 

The best part is the determination of the singers in giving their best salecting the best song according  to their capabilities Congrats to them especially Tessane Chin, the winner. Superb show. If only our athletes and officials can have that level of bonding in a professional way, then we will see more gold medals...

Salam to all Famemas Frens.... On sports... MU is EPL's Champion and SAF resigned as MU's manager. Good bye Sir Alex and you had done a tremendous job, Congrats! ............

Cardiff City is promoted to EPL and QPR is relegated to the Championship League. The triumph of a Malaysian Chinese (Vincent Tan) and the flop of another Malaysian (Tony Fernandes). The next season, my favourite teams will be no. 1: MU, no. 2: Cardiff City no. 3: ABL =Asal Bukan Liverfool.

Come this Sunday, 19 May, I hope to meet all of you in Famemas AGM. Please do come ok. We have not gather for sooo long and please take this opportunity to do that. 

The ideal EXCO---- Chairman=Lee Hui Seng, Deputy = Hafidz, Secretary = Chua Eng Siong, Asst Secretary: Yusnita, Treasurer = Dorairaj, Committee Members = Jason Tiang, Tok Moh, and others.... 

Me? Not me. I am out. You all should vote Razlin in. Normally with married life, one will be more committed, dedicated and have better ideas... maklum lah... ada orang di sebelah yang boleh bertukar2 pendapat. So famemasians... do come ok. At least support the club.

Oh yeah... on last Sunday, 3 Feb, I think all of you were aware that Famemas had organised the Larian 1 Malaysia. It was a success and kudos to the EXCOs for a job well done. Congrats Famemas! And Thank You to all the volunteers too. Next time we'll try to go for a bigger participants... 2000-3000 runners. 

And for me... I saw Si Dia on that morning and I did ask how she is. Wow!! After sooo long, i saw Si Dia again. The scenario was like this; on Saturday nite, while doing the preparation for the run, one of the EXCOs did read out the names of those coming as volunteers and Si Dia's name was mentioned. There was a lump in my throat. Ok fine. On that Sunday morning at about 6.15 or 6.30 am, I was in the VIP room having my breakfast and my back facing the door. As I was seeping my nescafe (prepared my Hafidz's wife) and then I saw her as I was turning around. Glup...glup.. tertelan nescafe yang panas... and then my heart was thumping duuk... duuk.. duuk... 

Yeah.. I saw the most beautiful woman squatting down while trying to arrange some papers. She looked very slim and I noticed the same old hair do.. the one that i like. Then my hands were trembling...... Oh.. I thought that it is already over.. I mean the feelings or whatever you may name it, cos she is about to be married...but why am I was in that situation? So to avoid any embarrassment (takut pengsan or histeria), I picked up a cup of coffee with 2 sandwiches and walked out. While walking out I did ask how she is and to be frank..I just do not know what she replied, maklumlah tengah gabrar... heheh 

 Yes... after all these months and her wedding day is very near... I think I had overcome whatever I had for her... but still I can't. To Si Dia... maafkan saya... unintention and Selamat Pengantin Baru.

So long I have not written my celoteh. May be that my work was taking alot of my time, or the pond fishing or may be that I was really really down when Si Dia wrote, "I am engaged to be married". What ever it is, I still survive to write this celoteh. Thanks to the Almighty Allah for being able to be with you all till today. 

2013, 8 days into it and life is more or less the same. Not much different than last year and before that and the year before that too. Things happened and may be we'll remember for some time and as time passed by, eveything is normal again. 

So this year we have SEA games to look to and that'll be in November. From now till that date, there is Malaysian Badminton Open, the Famemas Run, the many-many runs, the Famemas AGM and may be some other happennings, which I am yet to know.

I am looking forward to the Malaysian Open. My drum has been collecting alot of dust and cob webs. My voice had not reach the highest decible possible for almost a year. and we have not assemble as a Famemas group for such a long time. So we'll do it on this 18th, 19th and 20th Jan at Putra Stadium. Lets us meet there.

Then the Famemas run on 3 Feb. Our EXCOs had planned it well and let us all support our beloved club. Datang beramai-ramai ye. 

On 9th Feb, on the eve of CNY, it is my daughter's wedding. Phew... from now till then, it is going to be a big headache for me. First wedding in the family. Hope it goes on without much hiccups. 

About me, i am still the same old man. may be my tummy is getting more rounded and my movements are getting a little slower and getting lazier... failed to get up in the mornings to run or exercise. Malas! Kalau Si Dia jumpa pun, I'll bet you that she dont have a slighest regret of dumping me. heheheh... yeah, she won't. Si tua boncit. hahaha.... 

Anyhow, life got to carry on. Try to make the best of what we have. I am doing that and maybe after touching 55 years, one is thinking more about life in the after world, to start preparing, more seriously, to meet your creator. I think all of us are like that. 

And MU is still at the top. Syabas MU. But then a Malaysian owned team is at the bottom of EPL (QPR) and another Malaysian owned team is at the top of the Championship League, Cardiff. I do hope both the teams to be in EPL next season and then maybe we Malaysians will support them rather than MU or Chelsea or Spurs or Everton or Arsenal....... (Liverpool, tak payah lah. Dont try to be the misguided fans. Dont ever.) 

On the coming GE...vote wisely. Every vote counts. 

So till we meet in the Malaysian Badminton Open in Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil on 18-20th Jan 2013, take care and the very best in what ever you do.

Salam to all, another month, the Muslims will observe Ramadhan. Then Hari Raya. Just thinking of it, one can feel that time flies very fast. Now is 2012 and then it'll be 2013, 2014 and so and so.... Yeah. I joined Famemas in 2003 for the Vietnam Sea Games and thinking of it, it was 9 years ago. 9 long years. A child borned in 2003 is now a primary 3 student. But then if we were to recall what we did in Vietnam, then most of us were to feel that it happened just a couple of years back or just about a year ago. Remember the dinner show we had on the boat that was cruising along the Saigon river on our last nite there? One group wore the red Vietnam T shirts and a few ladies donning the "cheongsums" ( sorry..vforgot the Vietnamese name for it). Capt Zaki put up the Dikir Barat show? And everybody joined the dance? And before that we had a small gathering of "refomasi-a-like" on the main street of Ho Chih Min? The visit to Cuci tunnel? Our "follow the leader dance" around the shopping complex? And we were advised not to put on any thing the depicted us as Malaysians when Vietnam played againts Malaysia in soccer, afraid that the Vietnamese will "murder" us if they were to lose? Still fresh in our minds huh? It was fun and interesting too. 

So our cheers as Famemas members is almost a decade old already. And our age, the numbers is growing every year. What ever that has gone by... if it is good, let us share and cherish together and the bad, lets forgive and forget. We have to continue with our lives, to do good on this temporary stay on God's land and pray and hope that we'll be better in the next world.

EURO 2012 is about to reach its peak. Portugal to meet Germany in the semi on one half and Italy to meet France in the other half. And in the final.... Portugal vs France where Portugal to be the Champions. 

 hehehe... thats just my imagination lah. 

And dont be surprised that England could be Euro's Champ. In 2004, when Greece hosted the Olympics, the Greeks were Euro's Champion then. So to the punters... I am giving you all a tip Ok. And England is hosting 2012 Olympics. A repeat of 2004? 

I am supporting Portugal cos I am afraid to die of heart attack. Portugal is the last to qualify for Euro 2012 and by cheering for the Portuguese, if they were to win... then I'll feel very good. Kalau tidak pun.. then I wont feel that very down type. Another factor is Nani and Ronaldo (MU strikers) And in this on going Euro, I think the supporters of Russia and Holland were really really frustrated. Luckily I am not a huge fan of the Dutch. Kalau tidak... sudah masuk hospital.... 

 and I think I'll be admitted also... When? I should have been but I am still out cos for just being stubborn. Meanwhile.. I am trying to be my own doctor and be my own nurse too. Insyaallah I'll be still around to see the next Euro kot... or to go fishing with my cucu... We can only pray and hope for the better but Allah knows better.

 And the hope of Malaysia winning a GOLD medal in the coming Olympics is fading away? LCW is still nursing his injury and our cyclists has not shown any good performance lately. May be the hope now lies in diving or archery or shooting... Whatever it is... this is the Olympics that Malaysia were to win her first gold! Yeah... Malaysia Boleh!! ( Saya memang betul-betul mengharapkan cos after 55 years... the waiting is far too long). 

And all of us are anxiously waiting for EPL. Will Tony Fernandes' Crystal Palace going to be a top 10 club... or Liverfool with Rodgers at the driving seat will be able to redeem its pride... or MU to beat the Citizens for the League's trophy... or Robbeto Matteo's Houdinis act to countinue...? Just cant wait for the EPL to start. 

Till then let us all enjoy EURO 2012 and the coming Olympics. Ole ole ole.. Portugal Boleh and Satu Gold please......

Dear all, LCW injured again. And Olympics is just hardly 2 months away. Lets us pray for a fast recovery or otherwise all our hope for the last 4 years...i.e LCW to get the 1st Gold for Malaysia in the Olympics will only be another dream. Maybe there is still some hope in other events/sports like cycling, archery, shooting or diving but then...LCW is the reigning world champion and deep in us... there is a greater chance from him. Anyway... I have some confidence that this is the Olympics that Malaysia will get at least a gold..either from badminton or from diving. Yeah... Malaysia BOLEH!! 

Chelsea is Europe's champion. Congrats to Drogba and his lucky team. The departure of AVB had made a tremendous turn around for Abrahamnovich's team. To be frank I didnt watch the game cos I dont fancy the way Bayern or Chelsea played... They are not in the same league like Barcelona, Real Madrid, MU, Manchester City or even Newcastle and Spurs which have some flair... being crafty, with individual skills like Messi, Nani, Aguero, Ronaldo etc... Chelsea and Bayern are more for physical play - robust and being very tactical. In other words...there is no element of syiok and oomph... 

 And the passing of Robin Gibb and Donna Summer had some effect to many of us especially to those who were used to Bee Gees songs. I am not a keen singer but Bee Gees songs are evergreen....I can keep on humming one after another of their many many songs (definitely with many wrong wordings)....and Staying Alive is my favourite song and I just love to dance to the music..the way John Travolta did. If Si Dia is willing to be Olivia Newton John...then I dont mind to show of my Saturday Night Fever dancing capability. hehehe Then others might say.. 'orang tua ini dah naik minyak'.... heheh Who cares, right? Ehh wah... the fingers pointing towards the ceiling...with bell-bottomed slacks and high heel shoes.... hahah to those above 40s .. they are able to recall the dance. 

 Oh... got to rush for something else...

Another 10 days.. we are into year 2012. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. And again almost everyone of us will have a new year resolution whether the present one is yet to be achieved or not. Mine... was a failure cos Si Dia tak kahwin lagi but oopps... who knows Si Dia were to marry in the next few days... yeah.

Year 2011 was quite a difficult year for me. In April, my Abah had a stroke, was in coma and hospitalised. He later recovered and as at last Saturday, he seemed to be at his normal self. Then, during Hari Raya, I was very sick. So no raya for me in 2011. My children's house was broken into for the 2nd time. Luckily my children and my ex were not harmed. Right now, my Mak is still in the hospital... high BP with high sugar level. InsyaAllah Mak will recover soon. Just like her husband of 60 years, she is a fighter too.

Towards the end of 2011... on 20 Nov to be exact, I experienced the most frightening moments but looking back, after the match... it was the best satisfying feelings that I had of being a supporter of Malaysian sports and games. Yeah.. no amount of money could buy that... witnessing Malaysia won the football gold in the Sea Games. Malaysia Boleh!

Before leaving for SGBK, we had our briefing in the CDM conference room at Sultan Hotel by CDM himself. Malaysian contigent was issued with only 100 tickets but only 50 for the VIP stand and the balance were scattered. For safety measures, only 50 were allowed to go in. However there were students who had purchased their own tickets and a few of the embassy staff who had special passes and thus the number became 66. We boarded a coach which is just behind the players' coach and left for the stadium at 6.00 pm. We were escorted by the police outriders and a few plainsclothed police personnel on motorcycles. At that moment, we were looking forward to be in the stadium. Yeah.. rasa bangga dan perasaan takut belum menyerap lagi...

From the bus, we could see many Indonesian fans and mostly in red shirts all over.. as Sultan Hotel is only 2 km away from SGBK. FYI the crowd had started as early as 1 pm and one could imagine how big the crowd was by 6 pm. (I recalled the same as when Malaysia vs Singapore at Bukit Jalil Stadium for the World Cup qualifying rounds; only difference we behaved a little better but then at times we were no difference when we booed and showed nasty finger signs to the few Singaporeans fans and when some in the crowd booed during Singapore's National Anthem).

Our coach passed through the main entrance gate without much problem but as we approached the stadium, and when the red supporters knew who we were, then they started to show their middle fingers, thumb down signs, kissing their shirts, showing signs for us to go back, knocking on our bus etc. Then our bus came to a stalled, sometimes moving for a few inches...and the crowd became bigger and surrounding our coach.... they were getting more rowdy. But still we were not afraid. Some of us could still afford to joke about them. First 10-15 minutes, some of us were getting nervous...and I could see some pale faces. Outside, the crowd were getting more hostile and I could see the police were not doing anything. A few from the crowd and the cameraman standing on a pillar did tell something to the crowd and after that the knocking on the bus was stopped but only for a minute or two and then the thumping on the bus, the showing of the middle fingers, throwing of water bottles, shouting of obscene languages and condeming Malaysia started all over again. Now, we were getting anxious and I could see more than half in the bus were keeping silent; could probably praying or thinking of the loved ones back home...the feelings of fear was creeping in .... and after 30 minutes being standed...I believe most of us were really feeling afraid then... and the assumptions of "What if they torched the bus.., What if they threw stones and broke the bus windows..., What if they punctured the tyres....What if the bus had to turn back to Hotel Sultan.... and I believed all in the bus had the thought of regretting of being in that bus at that moment. Me, I just wanted to changed into a different T shirt, get down the bus and walked into the SGBK as an ordinary supporter. Yes.. I wanted so much to be in the stadium with or without others as I wanted to tell to the whole world that sports and games are to be enjoyed without fear and no racism at all . But then my other thought was- to come in a group, no matter what happens, let us all face it as a group. Yeah... we must take it as a group, no matter we were afraid or otherwise.

Celoteh Captain Shafari - Palembang or Jakarta?

Salam to all Famemas members.

Still remember on our bet i.e. which team perform better? Palembang or the Jakarta team?

To me, the Palembang team won in all areas and the only consolation for the Jakarta team was that to be in Stadium Gelora Bung Karno (SGBK) to witness the Harimau Malaya won the football gold. The Palembang team were in a lot of venues, sang more negara ku, visited more historical or tourism sites/places, spent longer time in Palembang and they had snapped many photos either with athletes, VVIPs and locals. Their pictures even appeared in Malaysian papers too. So they won. Congratulations!

Though I've written on our ordeal of entering, be in it and getting out of SGBK earlier but please allow me to rewrite it as .....thats the worst nightmare that I've gone through. In my 8 years of being a supporter (Famemas) for Sea games, that moments of about 45 minutes of anxiety while entering the stadium were the most frightening moments in my life (or maybe I have to face again...the moments of akad nikah dengan Si Dia hehehe). Not only me but I believe all the 66 of us inside the coach. I dont only think about myself but being an ex army personnel, I believe that I am also responsible for the whole lot. The lives of the other 65 was also my responsibility as Lee and I had really hoped and prayed that we should be in the stadium for that historical match.

Why were we so afraid? To me, I blamed the mass media people and the politicians, on both sides, our country and so is Indonesia.They wanted so much to sell their news and to promote themselves that they had created that bad feelings between Malaysians and Indonesians. (to be continued)....

This time there are 2 teams of supporters, Team 1 -pure Famemas team of 14 members are going to Palembang from 12 Nov till 22 Nov and another team -Team 2 a mixture of Famemas (Lee and I) and Team Malaysia (23 of them and will be in Jakarta from 17 Nov till 23 Nov). Hafidz and I had agreed that we should compete with one another to see which team perform better at the end of our tour. And the judges are you all, Famemas members. So frens, pls do your part and submit your verdict through this fb by 24 Nov 2011. Nothing is at stake but then it is a matter of pride.

My Jakarta team members are employees of TM. Mostly are still young, below 30s and this is the first experience of supporting in Sea Games. So the Jakarta team is handicapped though we are in bigger numbers. However I'll try my best to get the best from them and dont be surprised that my team is going to be the best cheering team ever. Yeah... kami Boleh!

And are we afraid of the Indonesians when we are cheering? No not at all. Lets pray that no untoward incident to happen. InsyaAllah NO.

And frens, actually I am into this Jakarta team is like "bidan terjun", not planned for. Since most of the EXCOs had booked their flighs to Palembang when Team Malaysia finally decided to send a team to Jakarta... and they need someone with experience to guide them, so the EXCOs picked the lucky me to be with the Jakarta team. Well, my sincere THANK YOU to the EXCOs . And I wont let Famemas down. You all can count on me unless something adverse happens, hopefully not.

Well, going to Jakarta without Si Dia... terasa frust juga. If only she is still active in Famemas and then..we could be together cheering..."It is ok, it is alright... come on Malaysia... fight, fight fight..." the familiar voice is still ringing in my ears... after 8 long years. Yeah, I have tried many many times to forget her, to erase all the good memories of her from my mind but then... just couldnt. I am just to weak when it comes to that. To approach her and tell her of my feelings right into her face?? No. Cos even if someone whom I dont like were to do that, then I'll feel embarass and being so angry to that person. So frens... please allow me to express my feelings through this medium and many thanks for tolerating this. hehehe old man's feelings huh?

And at times, I wished that I bump into her but this wont happen as either I am at work or at the fishing pond. I seldom, very seldom go to shopping complexs or into KL city. Well may be this 1 fine day..she'll accidently knock into the rear of my car. hehehe

Sorry guys, just cant open my yahoo. So please allow me to write my celoteh through FB. On the ongoing WBC at Wembley, I agreed with Indian Coach, Gopinath that the Europeans would bolted out from any Asian countries if there were some form of security breach but when the riots are out of control in London now, do the Asians do the same? So am I not right in saying, Asians are brave and Europeans are cowards? heheh. I think LCW has the best opportunity to win the men's crown. This is gonna be his year.

On soccer, when Manchester City was leading 2-0 at half time during last week's Charity Shield, I thought MU was going to let in a few more goals when I did not see Vidic and Rio in 2nd half. My -ve mind was telling me..nah, Ferguson is selling the game. Damn it!. But after goals from Smalling and Nani, I knew that MU were to win. MU is just way above City or in that matter, above all the other 19 teams in EPL. MU is just great! MU has the best pool of great, imaginative and hard working players and Sir Alex is the BEST Manager. MU is definitely to win her 20th league title this season. Sorry to all the Chelsea, City and Arsenal fans. And so to the Liverfooldians... keep on dreaming ... Ole..ole..ole.. MU BOLEH!

On the match Malaysia vs Singapore, I felt sorry for the fans who booed during the anthem, Majulah Singapura, who threw bottles on the pitch, who laser aimed at the Singapore players and who threw the fire crackers. They are idiots of the highest order. "May they realise the mistakes they made and hopefully they wont repeat them. Amin"

And if not for those stupid actions, it was the best ever soccer match that I've been to. It was great. The atmosphere was superb. From the build up, about 4 pm till after the match....simply awesome. One could noticed that we Malaysians from all walks of life are really united as 1 Malaysia. There were a few Malaysian Chinese youths in Harimau jerseys who were intimidating the few Singaporeans Chinese; telling them to go back lah...your team will be slaughtered lah...etc.. before the match. The huggings and hand shakes between races were very obvious. To me on that day...there was only a single race... MALAYSIAN! So, sports do not segregate race. Period.

Salam my friends,

it is just 2 days away for our team, Harimau, either to make it to the next round or to lose to the Lions. To me, I want my country to win! We Malaysians, from all walks of life, no matter how old and no matter what race and religion, definitely want Malaysia to win too. We are Malaysians. 1 Malaysia. The only betrayers are the bookies and gamblers.

So guys, please come to the stadium and let us sama sama cheer together, to play a part so as to motivate our players to win. I can still feel that chilling, thrilling, glorious moments when Malaysia won the soccer gold in Laos Sea Games, before that the match against Thailand in the final of women's basketball in Korat Sea Games. Then in Vietnam Sea Games we all shouted as 1 Malaysia till we all lost our voices when Malaysia lost to Indonesia in Men's badminton. "Its OK, its alright, Come on Malaysia Fight Fight Fight!" The shouts of this 'slogan" had somehow gone into the players head and Roslin Hashim was diving all over the court trying to retrive every shot. No matter Malaysia lost, we took it cos Malaysia went down fighting all the way. We accepted cos we lost to a better team and as supporters, we had given them everything that we had. We are proud of the players and we are satisfied to ourselves. As for a record, we were there and we had played our part in cheering for the team. Though we lost, but we were very proud of ourselves.

So Famesians, being Veterans or newly joined, each and everyone of us could recollect those moments that we felt that we had done something to our nation's games and sports. So please let us all do it one more time when Malaysia meet Singapore in the return match on 28 Jul, tomorrow. Please.... many years after this match, a lot of us could proudly say that we were there in the stadium and had cheered till Malaysia won and qualified to the World Cup finals in Brazil. WOW! Wulawei!

Thank you to all who had wished me on my 35 th birthday. May the Almighty take good care of you all.

Oh!! 35 years old?

Well, just before the match between S'pore and our Harimau last nite, my daughter had prayed for Malaysia to win- as a gift to her Dad. I had asked for the score to be Malaysia 5, Singapore 4 - the actual figures of 54-my actual age. So since the score was 3-5, so I guessed that God had fullfilled my wish .. to be as young as 35... hanya 2 tahun lebih tua dari Si Dia. heheheh...

Anyway guys...we must gather as many as possible on this 28 Jul...let us packed the stadium to the brinks...let us all cheer like we had...in Vietnam, Korat, Laos, Malaysian badminton Opens ... and let us make the Singaporeans shit in their pants...... Let us teach our government and show off to the world that no matter how the *&^%*$#@ and stupid politicians tried to divide us, we Malaysians stood firm that we are 1 Malaysia. Mari, mari kita cheer sama-sama for Malaysia. Malaysia BOLEH!

So... a request, deep from my heart is that all Famesians are to gather as 1 Malaysia on 28 Jul at 7 pm infront of the green gate and let us get into the stadium by hundreds of us in our yellow T shirts and let us drown whatever little voice the Singaporean supporters have, and together let us make the "1 world Singapore players" (a lot of importers, right?) play like novices...or like pondans of Bugis street... A deficit of 2 goals is not a big deal. Malaysia BOLEH!

But then we, as a mere caring citizens are shouting our lungs out.... what are the people who called themselves as the government of Malaysia are doing? Our property in S'pore from Woodlands to Tg Pagar (KTMB's land) is already taken over by S'pore. Before this, our island of Pulau Batu Putih was surrendered to S'pore. And do you all know that many of our commercial buildings are bought over by S'porean companies like Capitaland and such. So guys.. actually we are now being besieged by Singapore. Yeah..they do not attack us physically by tanks or jet planes and soldiers...but economic wise. And there are many more businesses being bought over by the Singaporeans. So what are our so called protracters of our nation are doing? Nah, our middle fingers to them.

As you are well aware for the past 6-8 months, that on every 2 weeks or so, there will be an issue that our papers will harp on. Recently about a decree that smoking is haram. Before this about Bersih 2.0. Before that about Anwar's video. Well... tak habis-habis trying to distract our mind, trying to tipu the rakyaat from discussing and seeing more truth about the weaknesses of the government-the about to resurface case of the scorpene submarines deal, about TBH, about the death of the custom officer, about the failures in the NSEW (all) Corridors, about more Malaysians are swaying towards the opposition, about the success of Penang, Selangor and Kedah in bringing in more investors and hence the vast improvements in the economies of those states.... and many many more. In other words, the issues raised are to hoodwink us and to cover the government's weaknesses. And the government too are taking the advantage on the success of Dato' Rajagobal's players by making a big story of it. Yeah...we are happy that after more than 30 years, our footballers are now showing some glimmers of hope....just like Super Mokh and gang had done. But I do hope this is not a flash in the pan type.... let it be a continous revival and in due time, we are rubbing shoulders with Japan, Korea and Australia.

On billboards (hahaha..I just love watching advertisements) I noticed that Celcom's customers is shrinking. Proton's Inspira advert is dangerous. Agensi Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK) is very grand but being blocked and U mobiles is very insulting.

This is Celcom territory. Well... about a decade ago, this same adverts sprung up in all corners of Peninsula Malaysia. But now..one could only see a few. So in ordinary man's perception is-Celcom is shrinking and the CEO and his gang are to be fired. On Inspira, one could see the adverts on both sides of KL-KLIA highway (Elite) near to the R & R of both sides; depicting 2 children having a peaceful sleep at the rear seats. I bet any driver were to look at it, he/she will feel sleepy. It is just like seeing one yawning and automatically you will yawn too, right. So it is dangerous. And to revert back of importing about 70% of Inspira parts, the CEO and his gang are to be fired too. The AADK adverts are found on both sides of KESAS highway, just near to the toll booths at Kota Kemuning. Both billboards are blocked and one could hardly notice them. If you were to look clearly, the bottom part is made from concrete and beautifully done but what's the purpose when only a few could see it. So what is the motive of AADK- the advert is like a behaviour of drug addicts too-menyorok menyorok. hehehe Another AADK billboard is on NS Plus hiway after Seremban; it is also blocked by oil palms.

And on U mobiles, a picture of an old lady with the caption "U nak?" It is near the Damansara toll booth, but one could only see while coming from NVKE before the booth. To me it is insulting. Pity the old lady.

Yeah...now on Famemas. I believe the club is getting stronger and better on each and every passing events..... it is more organised, the EXCOs are dedicated, being quite open, with lots of tolerence, hardworking and CONGRATULATIONS! You made us very proud of you. Keep up with the good and sincere work. Unfortunately... there are members who were used to be together, quite influential to the club and somehow had done and made the club as it is today... please comeback. No names are to be mentioned, but deep down inside them, they know whom I meant. Please come and join us on this 28 July 2011. Let us make this gathering a real happenning for Famemas.What you have to do, is just to reply to this Celoteh and I hope the EXCOs are to pick it from here. Just put it, "I'll come" and I bet you'll committ to your words by paying RM30 for the ticket and for those who has not get the yellow Famemas T shirt, just pay another RM25. Be at the Green gate at 7 pm on 28 Jul 2011. Please come and not only to support Malaysia vs Singapore but to our beloved club-FAMEMAS!

And my condolences to the families of those who were killed in the twin attacks in Norway-the bomb blasts in Oslo and the shootings on the island camp retreat. And also to the family of the late MP Dr Lolo. Al fatihah.

haha.. I am now the President. Self proclaimed President. President of GM4C -Guys Marrying 4 Club. And I am now on my recruiting drive, to take in as many members as possible.

Hoho...so this OWC is good huh. .. bringing some advantages to us, men. And to women too. They are;

For men;

-Isnt (arent) having a wife (wives) who is (are) very obedient means happiness? Just tell the wife (wives), abang nak kahwin lagi - surely being obedient, she (they) would not stand between your way. And your wives would scrub your body and bathe you, spoon fed you, and doing three some, four some... WOW!!! nikmatnya hidup ini. Being a master to the obedient wives is like being a Pharoah.

For women:

-you will learn all the techniques on love making so as to satisfy your hubby's lust. So.. gaining in knowledge... may be till PhD. Doctorate in Love Making! hahaha

When I was small, I like watching High Chapparel, a cowboy weekly show on tv. I can still recall some of the names... Monalito, Montoya and it is about a cowboy family near to the Mexican border. They rear cattles. Those cattles need to have a mark on their body to indentify to which ranch they belonged to. So these cowboys will perform cattle-prodding or stamp marking by heating the iron marker really hot and then stamped the burning maker onto the cow's body parts. It surely hurt, physically hurt the cow. So, just last week the Malaysian police did the same to the callgirls that they raided... they marked a big cross on their foreheads and that too surely hurt... mentally and emotionally hurt the girls. In first place, no one in the right frame of mind wants to be a prostitute... no one if given a choice. They got involved because they are forced to.

I did talk to some prostitutes and there was one case where a 50 something Malay lady admitted that she sold her body just because to finance her 3 children who were studying overseas.... and 2 of them were studying Islamic studies in the Middle East! Yeah guys... I did not get it wrong. I dont think she lied to me. She was sobbing with regrets but she told me that was the only way to ensure that her children will get a better life. Moreover her husband passed away and leaving her to fend the family.

When I was in ITM in 80s, I stalked a student who was wearing a tudung from the campus to Bus Station Klang where she changed her dress to a midi and blouse. There on she went to a 3 star hotel. Later I found out that she was prostituting herself as her parents could not afford to support her studies.. and she seemed to be a big spender too... maybe more for her own expenses.

So, to the police... please dont be inhumane to the callgirls. Maybe some of them have got children who depended on their mothers' takings in order to survive. Please En. Polis.

Aghhh... boring huh. EPL is over and waiting anxiously for the next season. So Chelsea and Liverfool are coming. NO! I AM NOT INTERESTED.

She is busy traveling the length of the earth till she is lost in the time zones...she got confused with petang and pagi, siang and malam. heheh but she surely enjoying herself.... being adventurous she is. Ramadhan is coming soon..less than a month away. To those who need to ganti puasa, better start now. To the hawkers... they are getting ready to find the best locations in the Ramadhan bazaars. To parents... they are scratching their heads... baju raya, kuih raya, duit raya, balik raya....aduh aduh....

Me, I am looking forward too... to gather with all by siblings, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in laws and my mother and my father. yeah..we can never know..are we able to gather again without anyone missing? No one can guarantees that.

On sports, a Negri Sembilan coach was charged for bribery. Could this be the tip of an iceberg? Even Hammam, the AFC President is being implicated in bribery. So guys....thats why I prefer to watch football on TV. Relaxing while watching. No more going to stadiums unless for selected matches but NO to all... matches as long as those s*&^%$#@ are still there helming FAM. Oh yeah... Congratulations to Li Na... the French Open Champion. For the men... I would prefer the Joker to win...so the final match between Fed Ex and Nadal was no cocern to me.

Famemas...I heard very little from the Excos. I dont even know the outcome of their meeting with TM on Team Malaysia. Maybe no news are good news. And there are about 15 ready to fly to Palembang for the SEA games? Me... not confirmed yet... cos too much of committments in November. If I were to go, then I might go for honeymoon as well. Huh? Betul kah?

Where have you all see this wordings, "Versatile as you"?

The answer.... On the plate number of most Perodua Alza MPVs. I wrote on "kereta juga MPV " for Alza on my another Celoteh serie but this wordings really made me feel easy... though being caught in the traffic jam... I just need to trail any Alza during bumper to bumper crawl and that words will make anyone feel nice. To the guy who initiated this... Thank you Bro... you did a wonderful job.

Bro? yeah.. it is sure to be a man's idea. Sorry Girls... not that I look down upon the fairer sex but man has the capability to seduce people with their correct words at the correct times... especially playboys or casanovas. Betul kan?

And the next time if you are caught in a traffic jam... just get behind the back of an Alza... and just follow it for 5-10 minutes... read the words and then try to relate it with what you had done for the day (if on your way back home) and just plan for what you are going to do for the day ( on your way to the office) .. and then you will definitely smile cos yeah.. you too are just as versatile as any other successful people. So frens... Perodua has got something extra to get the masses' attention. Those simple words meant a great thing, if you think positively.

So thinking positively is what one needs to survive on this ever challenging planet. And what a big deal that MU lost to Chelsea or Liverfools? So what? MU is the envy of all misguided fans of EPL. Yeah... MU fans are those who have that extra grey matter... they are smart. Why put yourself is a cooking pot just because of sports? It will not really affect our future. So what if you were to support the always winning team like MU? It makes you to enjoy and feel happy when MU wins and if MU were to lose... so what? There is always a chance next time. Sorry guys... please support MU cos that is the only team that is always winning and they do it in style... ADA GAYA kata orang-orang kita.

And if MU were to lose... then there are always some reasons to make us happy too. Just look back at the match with Chelsea... Abrahamnovich's team should not be awarded with a penalty but in just a few minutes after the game started... John Terry should be red carded when he blocked the shot with his arm... and then Luiz should be given the marching orders too when he blocked Rooney... So MU should have won on that night, right? And against Liverfool, I must admit that without Vidic and Ferdinand, the defence is very porous but then Carragher should be kicked out when he injured Nani with a very rough tackle. And MU could have won too right?

kah kah kah kah... ole ole ole... MU BOLEH!!

To Si Dia... please just stop admiring the handsome players of Arsenal or the tough guys of Chelsea... tak payah lah.... come and sit besides me and let us cheer for MU, the winning players and the team that has the Championship DNA.

CELOTEH-CNY & VALENTINE'S DAY & AGM

Happy (much belated) Chinese New Year to all of you cos somehow or rather as Malaysians, we are bound to celebrate it together.

I would like to say that the build up to CNY was really a happening, roads were jammed, most shops and shopping centres were packed and thus.. innocent people like me was caught / trapped and became the victim of circumstances. Pity Captain. heheheh

My area in Bukit Serdang was full of activities..from the countdown to the celebration and even now. It will only stop after Chap Goh Mei... Got to put cotton buds in your ears if you intend to have a good sleep... the blasts of firecrackers WOW! and I wonder where they got it... worst than the artillery explosions that I was used too.

Oh yeah..my mother in law (my ex wife's mother) passed away on 4th Feb. She was 83. My parents and I attended the funeral as she had requested for it a few years back. Al Fathihah to a very strong, pious, wonderful woman... My children are sure to miss her and so to many others. She had time for everyone... I am going to miss her too. Her timely death at 5.38 am on a Friday morning showed the level of her piousness, her charming character and dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was buried beside her late husband who died in 1982 (just 9 months before our marriage). Semoga rohnya berada dikalangan orang-orang yang beriman. Amin.

My children.. I pity them cos they are going to feel the lost... especially in the next Raya. However it will not be that bad as they have both Tok Abah and Tok Mak in Jasin (my parents). Anyway they are big enough to accept it and they have their own life too... and Insyallah I'll have a son in law by next year. Oh... sudah tua jugak saya ...

Bye bye The Dictator of the Nile.. Mubarak. To me, he is another modern pharoah. He amassed billions. Did he never think that he too will die? Why are these so called leaders plundered his own people and let them suffer.. just to ensure that he and his generations and cronies live in a super rich lives? Why? Why? In the end... one will rot in the grave or being burnt to ashes. One cant bring his Ferrari, his palace, his gold plated aircraft and yatch.... semua di tinggalkan. So why you need the billions??

In my perceptive, the billions that one should amass is the gifts to the poors, the help that you give to the needies, the sacrifies that you endure to fight for something that you believe is right, the dedication that you put in your work, the love for your religion, the travelings that you do to see and understand the miseries of other people and their culture (and then to make them change for the better), to educate the people... and etc....

Monday is Valentine's day. To me, it is nothing wrong .. just to make your feeling of love to someone being seen or being felt or said or written.. Salah kah? as long as one do not over do it.. like having free sex or being drunk or abuse of drugs...etc.

To me I just want to say Happy Valentine's day to Si Dia. I was almost choked when I read that Si Dia is about to be of a different role... ingatkan Si Dia sudah about to be married though my prayers for her for this year is for her to get married.. so that I can forget about that little hope that I still have...hehehe Masih ada harapan kah? hehehe Only Si Dia and the Almighty Allah yang tahu. Saya hanya masih menaruh harapan... walau pun se tebal benang. Can never know as long as I dont give up, right?

On AGM.. please guys... come for the sake of Famemas. It is a wonderful club and the present batch of Excos are superb. Just need some reshuffle.. realignment amongst the office bearers... tukar jawatan kabinet... and I hope all of you to attend. Afterall it is a gathering of CNY too. Please come for the sake of good old days...and Famemas is almost 10.. including the days when the idea was first brought up. I hope to meet up with both the veterans and the new faces come this 27 Feb at Kampung Ku restaurant.

Kalau Si Dia datang... I'll sit beside her unless she'll bring along her bodyguards.... J Lo kah, Maria kah, Ivy kah...Vanitha kah...siapa kah... please do not sit beside her OK?. Let me be the one and I'll propose to her with my knee on the floor...WOW! Betul kah?

Malaysia won her first AFF Suzuki Cup. Well done! But whats a big deal with it? It is played among ASEAN countries... not Asian countries. So to be the best amongst 11 countries is nothing to shout about.. Indonesia, Phillipines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei, Laos and Timor Leste... and most of these countries are not even heard before in the soccer world when the late Mokhtar Dahari, Soh Chin Aun, Santokh Singh, Shukor Salleh and their gang were playing excellent football and were the kings of Asia. Yeah... Malaysia was really good then, even managed to beat South Korea and Japan and became envy of other nations. So we were top of Asia then.

And now both Japan and South Korea are at par with many top European countries and they were in 2nd round of 2010 World Cup!! For Malaysian soccer.... our declared a public holiday just because we won Suzuki cup. What a joke. Let us all laugh to it first.

In other words, the failure of FAM all these while was rewarded by a National public holiday!! Isnt it a joke of the year?? Come on guys... these politicians are trying to play a Houdini and not to fall into their cunning trap... to divert our attention from the more important, serious and urgent matters. They are letting us to bask in the artifical "glory".

And pls dont get me wrong... I am all for the resurrection of Malaysian soccer but then should we Malaysians be rewarded by a public holiday? Hello.. does he realise that how much money is wasted to have a public holiday, even on the last day of the year where most are on holidays? As wage earners, yes we all are too happy but to the country's economy, it created a dent and there sure to be a spillover reactions.

But overall, Malaysian sports performed extremely well for 2010. We are world's best in badminton, squash and cycling. We garnered more golds and medals in Commonwealth and Asian Games. We outdid our neighbours and we are gaining more recognition. The world is taking notice of our rise. We can and we are capable of being there among the elite. Malaysia BOLEH!!

And I can proudly say that Famemas is one of the main contributing factors in our sports' renaissance. Over the years since the Busan games, Famemas were at most sports and games. It somehow has led other Malaysians in believing and support our sportsmen. We built up the feelings of cheering for Malaysia and now there are many cheering groups. Look at Bukit Jalil stadium on 26 Dec and one would notice there were not less than 15-20 cheering groups. They were not heard and even seen before. So, SYABAS Famemas... you have done your part and you should keep on going... passing this passionate "passtime' to the younger generations along the way.

So our 16 passionate supporters are in Guangzhou now. Hope they'll enjoy their week long stay there and cheering hard for Malaysian athletes. Hope we'll get more than the targeted 9 golds. Malaysia Boleh!!

LCWei lost. It is fine to me cos it is already hard to beat Lin Dan.. and it is harder to do it in his den. To me, LCWei is like Lionel Messi... flair, skill, grace... and just nice to watch him play whereas.. Lin Dan is Drogba to me... robust, physical & all the dirty intimidating movements. And to some extent.. Lin Dan is like Ballack..'berlagak' .. show off type.

Except for diving, badminton & cycling... the other medals that Malaysia won are from non Olympic games/sports like Wushu, Bowling, Squash, Billiard, Takraw and maybe Kabbadi. So..nothing great to show about. Whatever it is.. Congratulations to all the medal winners...irrespective of the colours. Maybe we should include congkak next time or hantu galah... heheh

So 2010 is nearing to the end. I thought I had just wished Happy Birthday to Si Dia and now I am looking forward to see my luck in 2011. Will she say something to me in 2011? Will she ask me for dinner? or for a movie? heheheh "Perigi mencari timba"... no it wont happen. She has that dignity and pride and more so... I am already an old stubborn man. But then... kalau hati sudah suka.... tidak kira tua atau muda..." hehehe.. Oh yeah... why must I still hope for something that is very unlikely to happen? Against all odds? Why? And then I just hope for miracles to happen cos I dont make any attempt? Well.. well.. I think I am a little crazy. As much as I wanted to.. but since there are so many factors that are against me... I just want it to be as it is. Syiok sendiri.... and mind you... it has been since 2003.

So to Si Dia... maafkan saya ok. Just cant help it and this has made me to go on with my life... as it is.

There is trouble in Chelsea. Ray Wilkin was dismissed and Ancelloti has started to show his displeasure. And as I see it.. a club should not be owned by an individual or of a smaller group of businessmen. It must be by many shareholders. Abrahamnovich is using his power to meddle with the club and thus created problems and leading Chelsea to lose a few matches. "Maybe he is selling a few games".. as what gamblers are seeing. And maybe it is good for EPL too cos there wont be any run away team...leading with many points. But then, it is not good for the sports though I might like it as I am not a Chelsea fan.

MU is getting back its momentum? Well.. MU is a sure team in EPL and in many Malaysian hearts too. Maybe you hate MU but the fact is ... it is the Greatest team on our planet. heheheh MU Boleh!

And surprises!! Bolton and Blackfool are among the top. Can they sustain it? And the season is still young... many more matches to be played. Congratulations to them. They are making EPL more lively.

Not bad for our hockey and football teams in GAG. They deserved some nice and kind words. And I hope they'll maintain the form if not improving on it.

Azizul Hasni Awang and Josiah.. 1-2 for Malaysia. Tahniah and the feat should be dedicated to the late Daud Ibrahim and ... alFatihah... the man, together with Joo Ngan who changed the cycling sport scenario in Malaysia.

MAHA.. an international level of agriculture products show is about to be unveiled this week at UPM. You guys better see it cos it is just interesting. Better bring along your umbrellas and put on Phua Chu Kang's yellow boots cos it is going to be a very wet show.

School holidays are back and students are sitting for SPM papers. I do like this cuti sekolah cos I can wake up a little late and yet arrive to office on time. Less traffic rush in the mornings. And made me less mad too.... and therefore lesser sins from the curses and tempers... heheh
