Advanced Sports Management Course (ASMC) 2010

The 3rd Advanced Sport Management Course 2010 will be conducted under 4 sessions. The dates of each of the session are as follows: 1st Session – 25th to 28th February, 2nd Session – 6th to 9th May, 3rd Session – 5th to 8th August and 4th and final Session – 21st to 24th October 2010. 

A total of 30 participants, comprising 25 men and 5 women will be participating in the 3rd ASMC. The breakdown of the participants are as follows: 16 men and 2 women and from National of State sports Associations. Of the remaining 12 participants, 4 are from the private sector, while the rest are from government agencies, such as the Institute of Sports Malaysia, State Sports Council, Specialist Teachers’ Training College and Malaysian Armed Forces.

Employment opportunity with the Delhi 2010

Mr. V. K. Verma, Director General, Organising Committee Commonwealth Games (CWG) Delhi 2010 and Dr. Lalit K. Bhanot, Secretary-General, Organising Committee CWG Delhi 2010 will be in Kuala Lumpur on 25th and 26th February 2010, to meet and interview the applicants who wish to work with the Organising Committee of CWG Delhi 2010 in the afternoon of 24th February and the morning of 25th February 2010. The interview will be held in the OCM Board Room, First Floor, Wisma OCM, Kuala Lumpur. 

The CWG Delhi 2010 Organising Committee wishes to employ experienced personnel, from Malaysia, in the areas of venue operations, sports, sport presentation, transport and logistic especially in the sports of Aquatics, Badminton, Cycling, Lawn Bowls, Netball, Rugby 7 and Table Tennis for the XIX Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010. People with special skills in the other sports in the Games may be considered as well. Successful persons will be offered employment starting from as early as March till the completion of the Games.

All those who are qualified and interested are encouraged to submit their letter of interest  together with their CV to OCM by the 23rd February 2010 (Attention: Mr. Fong Wan Hor). Further details and terms of employment will be given by the Delhi 2010 Organising Committee during the interview.
